I often get asked, "You're going to take pictures of what?", "Why?", and the most common "People really want that?"

I always reply with a simple yes, but the real answer is ..."Of course people want this story captured. After spending months filled with hope, prayer, pain, lots of sweat, tears, sleepless nights, mood swings, heartburn like you wouldn't believe,  and excessive preparation, people want to be able to look back and remember all of the details and moments that took place during the chaos. I get to capture the moment that these women meet their little miracle, whom they struggled for. I get to capture the relief on their faces when they hear that precious first cry.  I get to capture the emotion as they count little fingers and toes for the first time, and kiss their baby's nose. This is the moment they are bringing new life into this world. It is both miraculous and beautiful and deserves to be documented. Birth is hard and exhausting for a family and often our memories jumble together and become foggy so, It is such an honor to be able to preserve these moments for families to look back on as one of the best days of their lives.

Birth Sessions require on call time, often false alarms, and many hours of waiting therefore we will only be booking a limited number of births on a first come first serve basis. For the births that we do book, we want to be able to devote all of the time and attention that our expectant mothers deserve. 

Birth stories have limited availability and are booked on a first come, first served basis.
